Students below are working collaboratively during a recent math class. We have been studying the estimation of sums and differences and adding whole numbers. I've been extremely proud of the effort I've seen so far this year.

Homework
Homework will be assigned every night. Students are solely responsible for writing down and keeping up with their HW assignments. We ask you to monitor your child’s homework to ensure that they complete all assigned activities. Please do not do it for them. Please expect 45 minutes of homework nightly.
Making Up Missed Work
Work that should have been turned in on a day a student is absent is expected to be turned in the day the student returns. Work that was assigned during the absence is due in twice the number of days as the student has been absent. For instance, if a child is absent on a Monday and returns on Tuesday, the work assigned on Monday will be due Thursday (two days after returning). If a child is absent Monday and Tuesday and returns on Wednesday, the work assigned Monday and Tuesday will be due the next Tuesday (four days after returning).
